SARAH // LOUDER THAN WORDS

American Apparel jeans // Brandy Melville top // Zara jacket // Marc Jacobs purse // Aritzia beanie

Yet again another lame attempt at adding colour. This day was Hannah's last in the city and we spent it being the ultimate tourists and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. Despite the beautiful sunshine this was probably one of the windiest days I have experienced in the city. We laughed our asses off with our hair blowing everywhere while we tried not to lose our hats. Unfortunately with SFs moody weather you are never really prepared for what's to come, it's always a "cross your fingers and go" type of thing. I'm wearing a more casual outfit for wandering the city but I've used different textures to keep it interesting. I've recently been reminded of my love for velvet and continue to look for new ways to style old pieces like the ones in this post. While living the broke student life I'm constantly finding inspiration in hidden gems that have been tucked away in the corners of my closet.

HANNAHxPRSPCTV | KEEPSAKE

Keepsake the label romper | American Apparel shirt | H&M blazer | Dolce Vita shoes

This post is long overdue but I'm happy to finally exhibit the remainder of our collab with Pierce from this summer. Todays post is definitely contrasting to our last more casual post from this collab. I threw this complicated outfit together really last minute. It is composed of a romper with a body chain and an american apparel crop-top layered over it. We will have more looks coming from our shoot with Pierce and even more coming when we reunite this christmas!

HANNAH | POUR LA VICTOIRE

Pour La Victoire purse | Zaleska Jewelry necklace | American Apparel dress | Urban Outfitters blouse | Steve Madden boots | Topshop  hat

Leaves are falling, the air is crisp, and this season's latest fall fashion trends are out. As you can imagine, this has been taking a toll on my broke-college-student budget, but If getting to indulge in a bit of fall fashion means  I have to starve for a couple days, I think I can make do. I have been eyeing this little purse in a local vancouver store, Nouvelle Nouvelle, for quite a while and finally decided to go out and get it. This blouse is also new. I bought it for its functionality; it works great as a layering piece, a dress and a cardigan like you see here. Look out for many more fall looks to come from me and Sarah.

Cheers,
Hannah

SARAH | AA

American Apparel (borrowed) top and bottom | Pull and Bear (borrowed) flannel | Aldo boots

So before Hannah and I parted ways I decided to do a post with all of my favourite pieces of hers. Here we are doing something a little different with the pattern on pattern. It is hard to mix and match different patterns but Hannah and I found that it is all about the colours, shades and accessories you go with. With summer coming to an end this outfit while still being summery has a fall feel.

HANNAH | SAM EDELMAN

American Apparel top | Aritzia  pants | Aldo clutch | Sam Edelman shoes

This post is featuring a lot of new pieces that I have bought on my trip to Saskatchewan. I find that its in small cities like this that I come across the greatest finds. Saskatoon is the home to one of my favourite shoe stores, Swank Shoe Lounge. It is the kind of boutique shoe-aholics dream about, with a selection ranging from Jeffery Campbell to Chinese Laundry. However, it was this pair of Sam Edelman gladiator sandals that caught my eye.

Cheers,
Hannah

SARAH | SUN DRENCHED

American Apparel dress | H&M jacket| | Urban Outfitters pants | TopShop shoes | Brandy Melville (borrowed) bracelet | Thrifted watch/sunglasses

While playing around in my closet I found that my baby doll dress from American apparel also worked as a super cute oversized top. I went with plain black jeans and my platform booties to give a more sleek look. Also, the platform shoes add a nice amount of height which makes the length of the T-shirt look better. To tie everything together I went with my leather jacket from H&M. Here I decided to wear my hair in a messy bun because I felt it added to the overall look!

SARAH | JEAN SKIRT

American Apparel jean skirt | Brandy Melville top | Brandy Melville sweater | Converses shoes |  American Apparel necklace

This outfit was inspired by the beautiful weather we have been having. This is a super fun and easy look with lots of textures. This jean skirt is a new addition to my closet and I bought it from American Apparel. It's light wash makes it really wearable and I have found that it will be a great piece for the summer!

SARAH | BACK TO BLACK

TopShop (Borrowed) hat | Mink Pink vest | Stella & Dot short necklace |  Guess rosary necklace | American Apparel metallic leggings | Steve Madden  shoes

I love all black looks. Considering half of my closet is black, it is a look that I go with a lot. My Mink Pink leather vest may have been in my one of my very recent posts, but I am so in love with it I decided to bring it back! As you can see here, I am wearing a few different textures. This is important when wearing a look that is all one colour. I also decided to wear Hannah's brown wide brimmed hat to add a different shade to this look, while still keeping it neutral.
