This post is long overdue but I'm happy to finally exhibit the remainder of our collab with Pierce from this summer. Todays post is definitely contrasting to our last more casual post from this collab. I threw this complicated outfit together really last minute. It is composed of a romper with a body chain and an american apparel crop-top layered over it. We will have more looks coming from our shoot with Pierce and even more coming when we reunite this christmas!

Little spring dresses are my favourite thing to wear right now (despite the fact that it is no longer spring and frankly, quite cold). This one is an oldie from brandy melville which I thought complimented this new velvet jacket I coped up on sale at the Aritzia Warehouse sale quite nicely. But of course, my favourite things in the world right now are my Zaleska necklaces. These girls are talented and overall cool people, check them out if you haven't already at www.zaleska.ca.

While my trip home was much needed I can honestly say I do not miss the cold. Here I am wearing some newer pieces that I grabbed just before I left to San Francisco in the fall. I would suggest if wanting to wear an outfit like the one here I would keep it in the fall months. This light black demin jacket was a sale find at Aritzia from their last years collection. It's one of my slimmer fitting jackets and I'm finding it to be a really wearable piece especially with longer shirts and dresses. Joggers are a must for all people who value comfort. Joggers are a great pair of pants that you can dress up or down depending on how are feeling!

Leaves are falling, the air is crisp, and this season's latest fall fashion trends are out. As you can imagine, this has been taking a toll on my broke-college-student budget, but If getting to indulge in a bit of fall fashion means  I have to starve for a couple days, I think I can make do. I have been eyeing this little purse in a local vancouver store, Nouvelle Nouvelle, for quite a while and finally decided to go out and get it. This blouse is also new. I bought it for its functionality; it works great as a layering piece, a dress and a cardigan like you see here. Look out for many more fall looks to come from me and Sarah.

After much anticipation, here is the first post from our collab with PRSPCTV photography! We recently spent a night out with our talented friend Pierce roaming the streets of Vancouver and collabing on some fun looks. This post features a casual outfit that I put together with my favourite flannel and a hand-me-down rosary necklace. HANNAH & SARAH | BEHIND THE BORROWERS

     The Borrowers started only six months ago, but it's been going on much longer than you would think. Sarah and I met when we were six years old, where we bonded over dance and toy trains. Now, flash-forward over a decade beyond our kindergarten years, and we still share everything. We've come to a point where deciphering between each other's clothing is nearly impossible and our sense of style is almost identical.  However, now that graduation has passed, many exciting changes are occurring. Sarah has been accepted to a prestigious ballet school in San Francisco and I, Hannah, will be following a more academic path, studying science in university. Although we will no longer be able to scavenge each other's closets, The Borrowers will go on, as we continue to steal outfit inspiration from one another on a daily basis.

So before Hannah and I parted ways I decided to do a post with all of my favourite pieces of hers. Here we are doing something a little different with the pattern on pattern. It is hard to mix and match different patterns but Hannah and I found that it is all about the colours, shades and accessories you go with. With summer coming to an end this outfit while still being summery has a fall feel.

I bought these sweat shorts at H&M to wear with hoodies and runners until just a few weeks ago when i found this matching top. Naturally, I traded in my Nikes for these Nine West heels so I could turn this sweat suit into a two piece set, perfect for any GNO. If anyone likes to dance as much as Sarah and I do, you'll see the benefit in wearing sweats to the club.

This weekend, Sarah and I spent a day down on Granville Island. I think this place really encompasses the relaxed, west coast vibe here in Vancouver. It was a great place to spend with my best friend and to celebrate our time here together before Sarah jets off to San Francisco very shortly.

 My outfit here is pretty basic; heels and my favourite J Brand boyfriend jeans, and this cool baseball jersey from Aritzia. Also, some new blonde hair to top it off- my attempt at spontaneity. Lots of exciting things happening to the two of us this fall! Look out for a post outlining all the craziness that lies ahead.

This look has a bit of everything. I was going for a summery yet chic look and decided to brighten up this outfit with Hannah's kimono. I personally love the look of midi skirts, I feel they add length and have a nice slim fit. I'm so jealous of Hannah's Dolce Vita heels, they're so unquie with their colouring. This outfit is one of my favourites and was perfect for nice summer day spent wondering around Granville Island!

For today post it's just a casual outfit that I threw together when going to the salon. Each piece in this post are staple pieces of mine that I wear regularly. These LOFT 82 jeans are my favourite pair of jeans because of the wash and the way they have been distressed. Because the holes are so big these jeans work as a statement pieces as well as a casual.
